The “Wish for the Holidays” Campaign was a national project of the We Belong Together (WBT) Alliance to collect letters from children about the impact of immigration enforcement on families. The project required a sub-site that would relate to the main WBT Alliance site, using the same overall design and menu structure, but still project a unique project identity. We built an interactive web platform with a pop-up box to allow families and organizations nation-wide to pledge to collect letters.
In addition to designing and building the project site, we worked with the WBT Alliance to spearhead a month-long email and social media campaign to encourage national participation in the “Wish for the Holidays” Campaign. We used a combination of action alerts, interactive emails, social media posts, and Facebook outreach to generate national buzz for the project.
After the success of the “Wish for the Holidays” project, we are helping the WBT Alliance transition to a “Wish for All Families Campaign;” we will be building a new website for that project in the coming months.
